Though the property is well-suited for intimate wedding ceremonies with up to 100 guests, we really specialize in intimate micro-weddings and elopements, with Iowa elopement packages designed to keep planning simple and personal.

Wedding and Event Guidelines
Guest attendance is limited to 100 people. Children are welcome with a full rental of our wedding venue. Event activities must conclude by 10 p.m. Caterers must be pre-approved. A photography release may be required.
All guest rooms must be rented the day before and the day of the wedding for a full-house buyout. A minimum of 5 rooms must be rented for the wedding day for a micro wedding (under 25 ppl). Lodging cost is not included in the wedding venue site fee.
Parking is available for overnight guests at The Oakwood Inn. All other guests must be shuttled from another location.
The Oakwood Inn has a license to sell beer, wine, and champagne. All beer, wine, and champagne must be purchased from The Oakwood Inn. Hard liquor is not allowed. Bartender fees will apply.
